Andreas is a long-time friend of the hotel owning Eder family. He is one of the leading surrealists of the present and causes a worldwide sensation with his imposing, oversized steel constructions. Maybe you know the giant spider at the Kristallhuette or have already discovered our giant beetles and butterflies in the coolnest garden, at the bar and in the Green Lounge. Andi was born in Venezuela in 1969, has been painting since the age of 20 and composes his own visual language in acrylic and gouache. He reaches a large audience with his steel art through tangible visual objects. Insects, spiders and arthropods are the focus of his artistic work. The small comes to the fore and makes the large appear minimalistic. Andreas thus deliberately stages a change of perspective.
