The Barcelona-born artist and long-time friend Anton Unai lives cosmopolitically between the universes of Berlin, Geneva and occasionally coolnest and Kristallhuette in the Zillertal. As a contemporary artist, he is known for his versatile works in the fields of painting, drawing and collage. Antons artworks are characterised by a mixture of figurative elements, abstract forms and special emotional expressiveness. Through art, Anton celebrates a visual poetics of chaos ranging from playful lightness to rebellious provocation. Absurdities, media codes and expressive compositions can be found in his multi-layered works. Anton’s art is presented at international exhibitions in renowned galleries and modern museums.
