The artist and DJ Hans Nomad Raabe has already presented his extravagant art at our Kristallhütte. As an artist, DJ and music producer, the native Bavarian and Berliner-by-choice is involved in a wide range of activities. Influenced and inspired by the skate and graffiti culture of the 80s and 90s, but also by hardcore hip-hop and rave music, Nomad has had a lasting influence on the global street art scene. By his own definition, his style is the product of a “nomadic” lifestyle, characterized by constant change. NOMAD’s works are a magical reminder that neither art nor the artist are bound by boundaries in their creativity. His art celebrates freedom, life and its transience. Inspired by traditional alpine art and kitsch, in his works at coolnest he presents collections of surreal objects, unusually combined with images of home and hunting trophies.
